When either Meghan Markle or Kate Middleton make any sort of public outing, we’re all eyes. But how about when the soon-to-be sisters in law appear somewhere together? Up until now, Markle and the Duchess of Cambridge were only seen (and photographed) together once, specifically last year when they attended a Christmas church service on Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham estate. Today, however, that all changes.

Markle and Middleton have officially made their first joint engagement (alongside Prince Harry and Prince William) at the inaugural Royal Foundation Forum in London this morning. During the event, which followed the theme of “Making a Difference Together,” the fab four (as they’ve been dubbed) discussed the foundation’s purpose, projects they are currently working on, and what they hope to accomplish in the future.

For this special occasion, Markle and the Duchess of Cambridge both wore elegant blue ensembles. Markle opted for a sleek navy Jason Wu wrap dress, which she paired with black Aquazzura pumps, and Isabel Marant hoops. Middleton, on the other hand, styled a cornflower blue Seraphine maternity dress with classic black pumps. And while each is fashionable in her own right, together, these two offered up a double punch of style inspiration—and this is only the beginning. Now, read on to see the duo’s stylish first joint appearance.
