How do I block/select a keyword? |

After you log in to your account, click on Block Keyword. Select category, select a keyword and click on Block. This will block the keyword exclusively for you for a period of 3 days.
If you don't post your article within 3 days of blocking the keyword, the keyword is released and will be made available for use by the other writers.

How do I post my article after blocking the keyword? |

When you block a keyword, the default title of the article is ‘Edit Title’. Click on ‘Edit Title’, enter a title, summary for your article, paste your article in the space provided and click on Save.

What is the length of the articles? |

Short articles are 450-500 words in length and long articles are 900-1000 words in length.

What are the parameters based on which the articles are edited/rated?

The articles are edited/ rated based on - Originality, Content, Organization, Language, Style, Research, Rationale, Objectivity, Audience and Overall Impression.

How will I know if my article has been rated or not?

You will receive a mail intimating you of the status of your article and the editor's comments. In addition, when you log in to your home page you will be able to view the above mentioned details.

How are payments made?

Payments are done through online transfers to your respective bank accounts.
You need to earn a minimum of Rs.300 in order to process your payment. During payment time, our Accounts Department will get in touch with you regarding your bank account details.

At Writink, payments are done in a two-month cycle i.e. if your articles are selected in July, you will receive payment in the first week of September.

Do I have to pay for registering myself or for contributing articles?

There is no registration fee for enrolling under Free membership. However,enrolling under the Standard and Premium memberships entails a registration fee.

Can I publish these articles on other sites?

Writink holds exclusive copyrights to the articles submitted. You cannot publish these articles elsewhere.

How can I retrieve my password?

In case you have forgotten your password you can avail the Forgot Password facility to retrieve your password.

I received a mail from the editor stating 'Too many copied lines'. How do I identify these lines?

Login to your account at Writink. Click on Read in the Sugg column. Then click on To Be Rephrased at the bottom of the page. A list of lines is displayed that need to be rephrased.

I have made the changes to the article. How do I repost it?

In order to repost an article, click on the title of the article in the home page. Delete all content in the text box provided, paste new content and click on Save.

How do I leave a message for the editors?

Click on the article title. Click on Click here to view Suggestions Column, enter your message in the space provided and click on Save Message. It is advisable to leave a message for the editors after you have reposted an article. The message must read: 'Article reposted with desired changes.'
